The Vision.

God has given me a twofold vision, and it is my desire to spend my life towards this vision. I would not have been given this vision or been willing to pursue it Had God not done his work for me. That work put briefly is this:

1. God has revealed to me that He is the creator of all things, including me. God’s character and nature are eternal, all-knowing, all-powerful, loving, good, merciful, mighty and just. God desires that I know Him. He has taught me that mankind are his image bearers, who are to live out in obedience and harmony with Him and my fellow man.

2. God has shown me that without Him I am lost and stuck in my sin. The life I live without God is one of self-destruction, misery, selfishness and more. In my sin I harm others with my words and actions. Ultimately staying stuck in my sin will lead to eternal death: that is eternal separation from God who loves me. He has given me a choice: My Sin which destroys me, or my God who transforms me.

    

3. God Has given me a Hope in Jesus Christ. In Christ I am not stuck in my sin, in fact I am now dead to sin and alive in Christ. Jesus Christ: God incarnate who had no sin, gave his life on a cross. The sacrifice of the cross provides me freedom from sin and reconciliation to God. Jesus’ resurrection defeated death and provided those who believe a new and eternal life with God. I have chosen to put faith in Jesus, and receive the Grace that he freely gives. I know that nothing I have done has earned God’s forgiveness, but It was God’s love and mercy which made this possible. This Salvation God has sealed by sending his Holy Spirit to dwell in me.

My life now is a response to work God has done for me and the new Identity Jesus gave me. I seek to live in obedience to His will, in fellowship other saints, and looking forward to Christ’s return. In my personal journey with God he has put the nations on my heart, and the following vision for them.

The Two-Fold Vision:

1. Reach the Unreached

Many people have heard of Jesus but rejected Him. Many have access to the good news but have sought it. But there are the Unreached; people groups which have never heard of Jesus, never met a follower and don’t have access to God’s words. Part of the great commission is to make disciples of all nations. The first part of the Two-Fold vision is to reach the most unreached nations and share with them that Jesus Christ is their loving savior and they can know God. The hurdles of language, culture, distance are nothing to God. An Unreached person may be just as likely to receive Christ, but the saints must be willing to go and willing to share.

2. Equip the Saints

As people come to faith in Jesus and receive the gifts they become new creations. However the journey does not end there. As saints we must put into practice the teachings of Christ. We must submit ourselves to obedience to God’s will. And we must prepare ourselves to reach others with the good news we have received. As saints we must be equipped with truth, knowledge, wisdom and fellowship in order to see the great commission achieved. I aim to help equip other believers, especially those of unreached peoples with what they need to grow deeper in the knowledge of Christ. I aim to prepare others to reach others, and further equip others, creating exponential growth of God’s Kingdom.
